Just 1,5 hour driving distance from Dubrovnik lays unspoiled, beautiful area of Neretva river delta known by its flourishing fauna and flora as well as ancient and unique historical and cultural sites.

Our tour takes us to the Natural History Museum in Metković that has unique collection (opened from 1954.) of more than 340 stuffed birds which makes it one of the biggest collections of its kind in Europe.

Our second stop would be Archaeological museum Narona in the village of Vid. There, we could see the remains of a Roman temple – the Augusteum – and 17 marble statues, both outsized and in natural height.

After an unforgettable historical treat we will board a traditional Neretva boats called „trupice“ that have been in use for ages for fishing and transportation. Sailing through the Neretva Valley would uncover various hidden beauties of both local fauna and flora.

Our final destination is a very attractive location next to the river bank where we would have lunch and enjoy local cuisine.
